In January-June 2026 the agricultural production in farms of all types (agricultural organisations, private farms and household plots) at current prices was BYN 13.6 billion, an increase of 4.7% at constant prices compared with January-June 2025. The agricultural production in agricultural organisations was BYN 13.3 billion, an increase of 4.9% at constant prices compared with the same period of the previous year.
The share of agricultural organisations was 97.7% of the production of livestock and poultry (in live weight), 98.2% of the milk production, 88.6% of the production of eggs.
The production of livestock and poultry (in live weight) in agricultural organisations was recorded at 925.3 thous. tonnes, an increase of 5.3% compared with January-June 2025. The milk production was at 4619.9 thous. tonnes (+2.9%), the production of eggs was at 1725.1 million units (+0.7%).
As at 1st July 2026 the cattle population in agricultural organisations numbered 3.8 million heads, the number of cows being 1.3 million heads. The number of pigs totaled 2.1 million heads, the number of poultry being 51 million heads.
Fodder conservation is in progress. As at 1st July 2026, 2.6 million tonnes of feed units of grass fodder were procured in agricultural organisations, an increase of 26.5% compared with 1st July 2025. Thus, 8.9 centners of feed units were procured per livestock unit of public livestock (+30.9%).
