In January-April 2026 the agricultural production in farms of all types (agricultural organisations, private farms and household plots) at current prices was BYN 7.6 billion, an increase of 2.9% at constant prices compared with January-April 2025. The agricultural production in agricultural organisations was BYN 7.5 billion, an increase of 3.2% at constant prices compared with the same period of the previous year.
The share of agricultural organisations was 97.5% of the production of livestock and poultry (in live weight), 98.5% of the milk production, 92.2% of the production of eggs.
The production of livestock and poultry (in live weight) in agricultural organisations was recorded at 609.6 thous. tonnes, an increase of 4.6% compared with January-April 2025. The milk production was at 3001.2 thous. tonnes (+2.6%), the production of eggs was at 1147.9 million units (99.5% of the level of the same period of the previous year).
As at 1st May 2026 the cattle population in agricultural organisations numbered 3.9 million heads, the number of cows being 1.3 million heads. The number of pigs totaled 2 million heads, the number of poultry being 52 million heads.
