Crop output in farms of all types in the Republic of Belarus in 2025

In 2025 the total planted area under agricultural crops in farms of all types (agricultural organisations, private farms and household plots) was at 5785.8 thousand hectares. The agricultural organisations accounted for 92.5% of the total sown area, private farms – 3.6%, household plots – 3.9%.

In 2025, 9.1 million tonnes of grains (in weight after processing) were harvested in farms of all types, with average yield capacity 38.2 centners per hectare. The leader in grain production is Minsk region (2.2 million tonnes, or 24.2% of total grain output).

The gross harvest of rape was at 910.3 thous. tonnes, оne hectare of harvested area yielded 20.9 centners.

The output of potatoes in farms of all types in 2025 was at 3 million tonnes. One hectare of harvested area yielded 219 centners of potatoes.

The gross harvest of sugar beets in 2025 was at 5.9 million tonnes, with average yield capacity 538 centners per hectare.

In 2025, 58.3 thous. tonnes of flax fibre were produced, оne hectare of harvested area yielded 12.2 centners.

The production of vegetables was at 2.7 million tonnes, with average yield capacity 289 centners per hectare.

The production of vegetables in protected ground was at 103.3 thous. tonnes, or 3.8% of total vegetable output. The share of tomatoes in production of vegetables in protected ground is 51.1%, cucumbers – 47.6%, other vegetables – 1.3%.

The leader in production of vegetables in protected ground is Minsk region. In 2025 the region produced 46.7 thous. tonnes, or 45.2% of total output, of which tomatoes – 27.6 thous. tonnes (52.3%), cucumbers – 18.5 thous. tonnes (37.6%).
