The statistical book presents the information on the availability of transport vehicles and length of communication lines as well as the indicators reflecting the operation of railway, motor road, inland water, air, urban electric and pipeline transport in time series. A separate chapter provides the data on the activities of communication organizations. The data on fixed capital investments, financial position and the number and wages of the employed in transport and communication organizations are published.

The data are presented for the whole country as well as in a breakdown by regions and Minsk City. Selected indicators are provided with methodological notes.
