Socio-Economic Conditions of Households in the Republic of Belarus

The statistical book presents main indicators characterizing the standard of living in the Republic of Belarus, as well as the level, prevalence and duration of low-income among households with different compositions. The book provides patterns of money income and expenditure of households as well as the data on population distribution by disposable resources, household consumption of basic foodstuffs, and ownership of durable goods.

The book is prepared on the basis of the household sample survey results.

The selected indicators are given in a breakdown by regions and Minsk City as well as by main socio-demographic household groups. Major indicators are provided with methodological notes.
