The statistical book is the main publication of the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus providing the information on the economic and social development of the regions of Belarus.

The publication contains the data on the demographic situation, labour force and employment, living standards and social sphere, education and culture, science and innovation. The information reflecting the state of the industry, agriculture, construction, transport, communications, and trade is published. The data on the financial performance of the organizations, paid services provided to the population, development of small business and regions’ foreign trade are also published.

The data are presented for the country as a whole, by regions and Minsk City with the selected indicators presented by towns of regional subordination and districts.

Major indicators are illustrated with diagrams. Detailed methodological notes are included.
