The statistical book presents the data on administrative territorial division, population size and age-sex composition, its distribution across the country as well as the data on births and deaths, marriage and divorce rates, population migration.

The publication contains the summary demographic indicators characterizing population reproduction processes in general and life expectancy at birth.

The information is presented in an extended time series for the country as a whole and in a breakdown by regions and Minsk City. Selected indicators are provided with the data for towns of regional subordination and districts.

Basic demographic indicators are presented in comparison with foreign countries.

The publication contains brief methodological explanations of data sources, methods of data collection as well as indicators calculation rules. The statistical book is illustrated with diagrams and charts.

The statistical book is published in Russian and English.
