The statistical book presents the indicators characterizing the development of the culture in the Republic of Belarus. The data on cultural and natural heritage of the country, development of performing arts, cinema and video network, issue of books, magazines and newspapers are published. The statistical book also contains information on development of tourism, physical culture, sports and leisure activities, training of culture personnel.

Basic indicators are presented in a breakdown by regions and Minsk City. Data for the CIS countries are published in a separate chapter.

Main statistical indicators are provided with methodological notes.

The statistical book is published in Russian and English.
