The statistical book presents information on major economic indicators characterizing the activity of small and medium businesses in the Republic of Belarus for 2009 and a number of previous years.

It contains the data on the number of micro-organizations, small and medium businesses, their sectoral and territorial distribution, number of employees, wages and salaries, output of goods and services, volume of industrial production, volume of investments in fixed capital, turnover and financial performance of organizations.

The statistical data on major economic indicators of the activity of private (peasant) farms and individual entrepreneurs are also provided.

The data are presented by branches of the economy, economic activity, ownership type and region.

Methodological notes are provided.
