The book presents time series of main socio-economic indicators. Extensive information on demographic trends, labour force, and living standard indicators is provided. There are data on the performance of educational, culture, and public health institutions, and sanatorium-health resort, health improvement, and recreation organisations. The book contains the data, describing development of the main branches of the economy, as well as the data on financial performance of organisations, investment, prices and tariffs, and foreign trade.

The main indicators in each section are provided with methodological notes; charts and diagrams are also presented.
